A Short Love Story Of Mine!

It's not a new story that come 22nd and 29th August I would be tying the knot to the love of my life, let me indulge you guys a little on how we met.
In December 2009, we both accompanied our parents to an end of the year party of a club of which both our fathers are members, we the children were asked to introduce ourselves, after I finished mine and took my seat, 'few' minutes it got to her turn, she stood up and that was when I saw her, friend Chekwube who was also with me immediately complimented her, I waited for an opportunity to strike up a discussion with her, it seemed to take forever because I think most guys there also saw what I saw but eventually she got free, I even had to ignore my mum's calling to come and collect my favourite dish of Abacha, 042 boys will understand more, after few pleasantries I pulled out my Nokia 1100 which I used to collect her number. We kept communicating.
Initially, I disturbed her at midnight with the then MTN night call and when she complained about it, I put a stop to it and as years passed we became much more closer and fonder of each other, even though I wasn't dating her then there was this feeling of happiness I had each time I bumped into her in school or at village functions, the truth is my mind had also wanted to be with her,and as fate would have it every time I lost my phone or happened to lose my contacts hers always survived and remained written down where I wrote it down with her nickname 'Hipsy' yeah funny name I know but when you see her you will know why she is called that *winks*.
It took quite a lot of time and prayers for me to convince her that I really love her and eventually we started dating in 2013 and it has been all joy since then, because she is the most understanding person I have met on this planet earth and she virtually has a solution to every problem I have to solve and even if there isn’t any she gives me hope that “everything will be fine” in her words. We got along pretty easily being friends for quite a long time helped us understand each other very much, we got to know each other’s mood, things that excite us and what we have in common and where we differ. I got to pop the question in 2014 because I was sure she was that missing rib I had been looking for. I hope to see you all at the wedding!!
Drop your comments I will really appreciate!
